The Ka-Chat

Alright, so the last few episodes have spoiled us a little bit. There are no dinosaurs in this one, no ghosts, no embodiments of the concept of death. BUT there is some wild body horror! And a fake alien abduction! And you KNOW Lucas and John make it weird and sexual, so that's sort of a Ka-Chat classic.

Hey, straight up? In this one? Mater dies. And like, he ends up being fine. But Mater does die in this one, and it's so important you know that. The Car Grim Reaper comes down and reaps his Car soul (Kia Soul?). Other stuff happens. I would go so far to say other pretty wild stuff involving Cars body horror. But the one important thing is definitely that Mater dies in this, the third episode of Cars on the Road entitled "Salt Fever".

Hey, ya know how there are big mountains and plateaus and stuff shaped like cars and planes and trains and stuff all over the Carsverse? Well, Lucas finally convinced John that talking about that deserved an episode! Are these giant stone cars naturally occurring? Did someone carve them? Or, perhaps most concerningly, were these cars always made of stone? 

I'm going to be 100 with y'all - We didn't have an idea for this episode. So, we decided to take ideas from a site that gives out ideas! For free! So join us for the first (and hopefully last) edition of Lightning (McQueen) Round, where a random word is thrust upon us and we have to figure out how it relates to Cars as quickly as possible.
